If you have experienced loss the whole festive season can be extremely challenging.

Time and time again people have said to us they wish they could go to bed at the end of November and wake up in the New Year.  The reality is it doesn’t matter where you go during the festive period, in the lead up to Christmas shopping centres are playing Christmas carols and there are reminders everywhere that Christmas is just around the corner; street decorations, Christmas light displays, Christmas advertising, we start to receive Christmas cards and to a person who has experienced loss, their Christmas is going to be significantly different mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Tobin Brothers have prepared a helpful outline of some things that may assist you in getting through the Christmas Season. Preparing appropriately for it can be of great assistance in ensuring that your Christmas is the best it could possibly be in the circumstances.

Our guide for 'Coping at Christmas' can be found here.

For the best part of 25 years, Tobin Brothers Funerals have been offering our annual Christmas Remembrance Services throughout our branch network. We have provided much needed comfort to thousands of individuals and families but more importantly provide necessary tools as you prepare for what will be a very different Christmas.
